We enjoy hosting scientists from around the world to learn from their experiences and about their investigations.

Further, one of our traditions is to invite, once a year, at least one industrial researcher to lecture at the class on Foundations of Constraint Processing (CSCE421/821). The goal of the lecture is to learn the utility in the real world of the theoretical properties and the algorithms taught in class. This has proved to be a most effective way to put the material discussed in class in perspective and gain confidence in the usefulness of the concepts discussed.
